PRIVACY & DATA

Use the information needed for the outcome and no more.

Adaptive Resilience Intelligence is being designed to help organizations make better resilience decisions without collecting information simply because it is available.

Four-step information governance flow with icons and text: Purpose (document icon) - Use information for a clear purpose; Access (shield icon) - Keep access appropriate and limited; Use (gear icon) - Support the product or service outcome; Control (two people icon) - Keep customer information under customer ownership.
A PRACTICAL APPROACH TO DATA

Good data practices begin with restraint.

We design ARI around a simple idea: use information for a clear purpose, keep access appropriate and make important data practices understandable.

Blue target icon with an arrow hitting the center circle.
Purpose-Limited
Information should be used for the product or service purpose the customer has agreed to.
Three stacked blue layers resembling sheets or documents, with rounded corners, viewed at an angle.
Minimized
Use the information needed for the task rather than collecting everything available.

Customer-Specific
Customer information remains associated with the organization it belongs to.
Blue document icon with a folded top-right corner and three horizontal lines representing text.
Transparent
Customers should be able to understand the types of information used by the product and why they are needed.
RELEVANT INFORMATION. NOT UNRESTRICTED COLLECTION

ARI is designed around useful evidence and organizational context.

Depending on the customer environment and agreed scope, ARI may work with selected information from areas such as:

Technology Evidence
Relevant information from approved technology and security sources.

Organizational Context
Information needed to understand the environment, services or responsibilities affected.
Blue ascending bar chart with three vertical bars increasing in height from left to right and a line graph with an arrow pointing upward representing growth or progress.
Improvement Information
Information related to agreed actions, ownership and progress.
Blue shield outline with a checkmark inside representing security or protection.

The specific information used will depend on the customer environment, product stage and agreed scope.

YOUR ORGANIZATION REMAINS YOUR CONTEXT

Customer information should not become somebody else’s context.

ARI is being designed so information remains associated with the organization it belongs to.

Separate Customer Context
Customer information remains within the appropriate organizational context.
Blue user icon with a circular head and rounded shoulders.
Authorized Access
Access reflects the intended user and purpose.
Blue padlock icon symbolizing security or locked access.
No Shared Customer Knowledge by Default
Customer information is not intended to become general knowledge available across other customers.

LESS DATA CAN BE BETTER DATA

More information is not automatically more useful.

ARI is intended to use the information needed to support the customer outcome. Collecting less can reduce unnecessary exposure and keeps the product focused on the question it is meant to help answer.

Available Information
Many systems contain useful information.
Three stacked blue layers resembling sheets or documents, with rounded corners, viewed at an angle.
Relevant Information
Select what is needed for the task or outcome.

Useful Evidence
Support clearer insight and better decisions.
AI DATA USE

Customer information is not a shortcut to building a shared training dataset.

We are designing ARI so AI can assist with understanding information while maintaining clear boundaries around how customer data is used.

Icon of a classical building with four pillars and a triangular pediment.
Task-Focused
Information provided to AI capabilities should be limited to what is needed for the task.
Blue shield outline with a checkmark inside representing security or protection.
No Shared Learning by Default
Customer information is not intended to be used as general cross-customer training knowledge by default.
Blue document icon with a folded top-right corner and three horizontal lines representing text.
Provider-Aware
External AI and cloud providers are considered part of the data-handling and security model.
Three blue check marks each followed by a horizontal blue line, representing a checklist or completed tasks.
Governed Change
Material changes to how customer information is used should be reviewed before they become part of the product.
DATA LOCATION & PROVIDERS

Hosting region is one part of the data story.

We intend to document the production hosting and processing arrangements that apply to the deployed service, including material service providers and relevant processing locations. Customer requirements can vary, particularly across public-sector and regulated environments. Customer information stays protected within defined security and processing boundaries.

Production data-location and provider details will reflect the actual deployed service.
PRIVACY IS SHARED WORK

Customers remain in control of what they choose to connect.

Prairnova is responsible for appropriate handling of information within the product. Customers remain responsible for:

Connection Decisions
Choosing which approved systems and sources are connected.

User Access
Deciding who within the organization should use the product.

Source-System Governance
Maintaining appropriate controls over the systems supplying information.
Three blue check marks each followed by a horizontal blue line, representing a checklist or completed tasks.
Appropriate Use
Ensuring information supplied to the platform is suitable for the customer’s use.

Better resilience should not require unnecessary data exposure.

If your organization has specific privacy, residency or data-handling requirements, we can discuss them during early access or procurement.
